The WellRx Portfolio
WellRx “AVAK” Series Non-Profile Plugs
The WellRx “AVAK” Series Non Profile Bridge Plug was developed in response to the oil and gas industry move towards Mono-bore well designs. The initial driver behind the development was to design a bridge plug suitable for Slick line setting using mechanical manipulation alone. This was designed to reduce operational costs associated with electric line and remove the need for radio silence when using explosives. To cater for applications where depth control or high angle access became necessary coiled tubing, drill pipe and electric line setting adaptors have been developed allowing the user total flexibility. The use of a standard base AVAK plug assembly in conjunction with slip or full option kit reduces inventory costs.
WellRx “AKSAT” Series TT Packers
The WellRx “AKSAT” Series packer is a large-bore tool that can be used in a variety of intervention applications and is run on coiled-tubing, slickline, and wireline as well as conventional tubing in existing completion strings. As the result of running thru tubing, this packer passes ID restrictions (such as nipple sealbores, sliding sleeves, safety valves and other tubing mounted devices), and is then set – packing off (bridging) large extrusion gaps and sealing against high pressure at high temperature. AKSAT provides superior sealing ability during pressure reversals and changes in temperature – conditions that often cause conventional packers to leak.
WellRs “VATA” Series Straddle System
The WellRx “VATA” Series Straddle System is used for temporary or permanent isolation of tubing sections, perforations, or windows. The large packer throughbore enables maximum production after setting, and it permits access for a wide variety of intervention operations. VATA system can be run on coiled or jointed tubing and electric line with most common hydraulic and e-line setting tools.
WellRx “KARP” Series Tubing Patches
The WellRx “KARP” Series Tubing Patch System is used to isolate zones, perforation intervels or leak points. Post patch installation, the segments above and below the zones/intervels are connected with spacer pipes to create an effective patch that will by-pass the zone/interval. Patches are used for temporary or permanent isolation. The large packer throughbore enables maximum production after setting, and it permits access for a wide variety of intervention operations. KARP system can be run on coiled or jointed tubing and electric line with most common hydraulic and e-line setting tools.
WellRx “GURV” Deep Gas Lift System
The WellRx “GURV” Deep Gas Lift delivers gas lift regardless of completion packer setting depth. GURV system can be set across an existing gas lift mandrel to deliver lift gas deeper into the wellbore, or it can be used to straddle a punched hole within a completion to allow a well to be converted to gas lift without the need to perform a workover on the well. GURV consists of a lower packer with slotted joint and PBR. The lift-gas string is attached to the bottom of the PBR and then run in the hole. After the lower packer is set, an upper packer with spacer pipe, crossflow sub, gas injection tube and anchor latch seal assembly is run in the well. The packers straddle the gas-lift mandrel or punched holes. Lift gas is directed from the casing-tubing annulus into the crossflow sub, down the gas-injection tube, and into the lift-gas string. Production enters thru the slotted joint and up through the crossflow sub, continuing to surface through the production tubing.
WellRx “VESU” Velocity String System
The WellRx “VESU” Series Velocity String System is a small-diameter tubing string run inside the production tubing of a well as a remedial treatment to resolve liquid-loading problems. As the reservoir pressure in a gas well depletes, there may be insufficient velocity to transport all liquids from the wellbore. In time these liquids accumulate and impair production. Installing a velocity string reduces the flow area and increases the flow velocity to enable liquids to be carried from the wellbore. Velocity strings are commonly run using coiled tubing as a velocity string conduit. Safe live-well working and rapid mobilization enable coiled tubing velocity strings to provide a cost effective solution to liquid loading in gas wells.
VESU System comes armed with all ingredients and variations: Velocity String Hanger Packer, Deployment Tools, LTSA, Stinger etc.

WellRx Through Tubing Fishing System
WellRx provides a full range of spears, overshots, and retrieving tools that are used to efficiently remove wellbore obstructions. Our thru-tubing fishing tools—applied with industry-leading fishing experts to put the well back online safely and reduce the cost of wellbore problems. WellRx experience and equipment combine to deliver a clear wellbore with minimal downtime in virtually every fishing application.
WellRx Through Tubing Milling System
WellRx offers a wide array of common mills and bits, including specialized designs. These, along with a rugged motor designed to handle harsh conditions in horizontal wells, simplify the process of milling plugs, valves, concrete, etc. When faced with a long lateral and multiple stages in plug and perf operation, you need a thru-tubing milling provider that can get to the toe of the well, on time and on plan. We offer a full range of milling tools and techniques for through-tubing milling intervention. Whether there is loose junk in the well (bit cones, tong dies, packers, etc.) or stuck pipe, we can get the well back on line safely and efficiently. Our ability to source the right milling tool for the job—coupled with our expertise—can get the plug-and-perf wells on production reliably, and can solve obstruction problems safely and predictably.
WellRx “NAVI” Series Tubing Stop
The WellRx “NAVI” Series Tubing Stop is a wire line-retrievable tool used in conjunction with WellRx NABA-Series Tubing pack off. NAVI-series Tubing stop utilizing a slip cone combination that’s locks stop in tubing ID and prevent any movement in either direction. NAVI Series Tubing Stop are usually run and retrieved on wire line. The Tubing Stop usually run in lock position with shear pin that’s break by jar down operation during Pack Off retrievable. Standard tubing stops hold pack off assemblies in place and help to maintain seal compression.
WellRx “NABA” Series tubing Pack-off
The WellRx “NABA” Series Pack Off is a wire line-retrievable tool used to isolate and control communication between the tubing and the annulus. The TP pack off is used primarily to install gas-lift equipment in wells without a side-pocket mandrel. It is also used to isolate and patch a hole in the tubing or to isolate a leaking gas-lift mandrel or valve. NABA pack offs are usually run and retrieved on wire line. The pack offs use an elastomer-type element to seal in the ID of the production tubing. Standard tubing stops hold pack off assemblies in place and help to maintain seal compression. Accessory equipment includes stingers, receptacles, and spacer pipe for longer isolation intervals and for running the upper and lower assemblies separately.
